The vineyards are situated in “Canalasso”, in the municipality of Diano d’Alba. Vines are cultivated on a soil rich of calcareous marl and sandstone, with an excellent exposure to the sun.
60 hl per hectare.
During the pressing of the grapes, the must is immediately separated from the grape skins, after which follows the process of refrigeration and static decantation. The fermentation is obtained at a controlled temperature.
In stainless steel after cold stabilization until bottling is made in late spring.
Storage and evolution
The storage of the Langhe Chardonnay wine can last for 2-3 years.
Tasting notes and sensory properties
The colour of the Langhe Chardonnay is shiny, straw-yellow. Its bouquet is deep and rich, fruity, of a great intensity and persistence. Tasting notes: full-bodied, very persistent and long aftertaste.
Served very cold as an appetizer. Excellent with fish starters, light first courses, risotto and pasta.
